Problem scope

AMG Driving academy, a car racing event organizer is planning to build a new platform to host their upcoming car racing event. The platform aims to provide a comprehensive solution for the participants and spectators, and event organisers to engage with each other before, during, and after the event.

Case Study Task: The solution should cater to two user groups: participants and spectators. The application should have the following key features:

  • Participant registration

  • Race schedule and location information

  • Live streaming of the race

  • Interactive map of the race track

  • Race results and statistics

  • Social media integration

  • Feedback and rating system

Task is to design the experience for the above user types.

Understanding the user Participant
  • Patrick follows Formula 1 regularly and keen to improve his racing skills. Participates in AMG driving Academy events and loves to drive on circuits

  • Busy in life and cars & races are the hobbies.

  • Likes speed and looks forward to participate in AMG events

  • Good racing experience is always desirable

  • Highly motivated to perform better

  • Race enthusiast and loves to drive AMG

  • Watches race events and has fun and socialising during these events
